Gasterm is the only company in Bulgaria who supply on the market rotary gas meters up to 101.2 bar – these are the gas meters Delta series S-Flow from Dresser.
The rotary gas meters Delta S-Flow are developed to attend the highest requirements in terms of accuracy, stability and noise level and are ideal for accurate measurement from industrial clients and metrology institutes. In this meters the classic pistons with a shape of ”8” have been replaced by 3-lobe and 60° twisted pistons. This original design provides a continuous and smooth transfer of the counted volume from the inlet to the outlet of the meter, eliminating the normal pulsations and resonance of the conventional rotary meter.

The series S-Flow come into the market in 2010 and Gasterm has delivered more than 150 pieces for the Bulgarian market, our clients are the national gas operator “Bulgartransgaz” EAD, gas utilities and private customers. The delivered in 2020 test equipment for calibration and verification of rotary and turbine gas meters up to 650 m³/h to Flowtest, (Targowiste) is equipped with 2 pieces reference rotary meters Delta S-Flow.
The manufacturer Dresser decided to expand the S-Flow high-pressure series and started work on two new models in the DN80 and DN100 bodies with following technical parameters:

It should be noted that high pressure turbine gas meters offers almost every manufacturer in its portfolio but rotary gas meters for high pressure up to 101.2 bar are produced only by two or three companies worldwide, and the Dresser’s S-Flow series of rotary gas meters are recognized by its accurate measurement, stability and low noise level thanks to its original design.
The possibility of expanding the series of rotary high-pressure gas meters has been of interest to clients for years and Dresser as a world leading manufacturer of high quality gas measurement equipment is taking up its development. The DN80 housing meter has been finalized and is currently undergoing an EU type examination certification at the National Institute of Metrology PTB (Germany) and is expected to be on the market by the end of 2025, while the DN100 size meter is expected to enter in production by the middle of next year.
